ADA COMFORT underpads are protectors with a high
absorption and retention capacity, composed of selected
materials to ensure that they are hypoallergenic. Its high
resistance to rupture prevents the destruction of its
cellulose absorbent core, thus ensuring absorption during
use. With a structure developed specifically to allow
homogeneous diffusion of urine, it prevents localized
moistening. Its non-slip surface and dimensions allow it to
adapt to the surface of beds, chairs, wheels and other
equipments.

Brief Description

• Exterior side constituted by impervious material, selected for its capacity to avoid allergic reactions;
• Its shape and structure (it has distribution channels) allow the spread of the urine, avoiding flooding;
• With high tensile resistance, whether longitudinal as well as transversally in dry and in wet;
• Its dimensions allow a perfect adaptation to beds, wheel-chairs and other equipment;
• Hypoallergenic.

This device is meant for all types of urinary incontinence and as an additional complement to other
clinical procedures in which the containment of fluids is necessary;

Composition

Absorbent core:
• Superabsorbent Cellulose pulp with a system of odor neutralization. Excellent absorbent and
protection capacity.
• Homogenous spreading of the cellulose through all the absorbent core in order to guarantee a
bigger distribution and absorption of fluids.
• Distribution channels to guarantee a quick distribution and absorption of the fluids, preventing
any type of leaks or flooding
• The compact and equally distribution of the cellulose make that the underpad has a high tensile
resistance, whether longitudinal as well as transversally, in dry or in wet, preventing the
destruction of the cellulose with the movements of the patient;
• The cellulose pulp is bleached with oxygen without the use of chlorinated components.

Backsheet:
• Impermeable layer (polyethylene layer) which avoids losses of humidity and any other leakage of
fluids to the exterior;
• With different color from the traditional bedsheets so that it can be easily identified;
• With anti-sliding properties to allow the correct positioning of then underpad, avoiding its
dislocation. Its use does not cause any type of noise, being totally silent;
• Made of biocompatible material presenting the printing of the lot, expiry date and dimension.
Interior side:
• Made of non-woven stretch film (polypropylene), smooth, comfortable and tolerant with the skin. With
dermoprotective properties in order to prevent dermatitis and bedsores. Material resistant to tensile
strength, whether in dry, as well as in humid, longitudinal and transversally.
• Hyper filtrating and hydrophilic material, allowing a quick flow of the urine to the absorbent core in order
to assure a dry skin sensation.
• It has an area without cellulose that serves as a non-absorbent barrier to avoid leaks.
