Description
The ValguLoc Bunion Splint is a stabilising splint for big toe correction. If you're one of the many people who suffer from hallux valgus, better known as a bunion, you'll appreciate the need for a product that can reduce symptoms and relieve pain. A bunion is a bony deformity of the joint at the base of the big toe, which often forces the foot bone to stick outwards. This can result in painful swelling, made worse when wearing shoes, and a regular feeling of discomfort that can affect your daily life.
The ValguLoc Bunion Splint helps combat bunions to give you much needed comfort and pain relief. Designed to be worn at night, the splint holds the toe in the correct position for better toe alignment, and can help prevent or delay the need for surgery, or be used after surgery.
Who Can Use the ValguLoc Bunion Splint?
The ValguLoc Big Toe Foot Support postural splint is suitable for the correction of a misalignment of the big toe (hallux valgus, bunion) as part of a conservative treatment or after surgery. The anatomically contoured orthosis holds the toe in the correct axis by applying a slight force and stretches shortened parts of the capsule and soft tissues. This is a night time splint and is to be worn without shoes, so you can wear it at home while resting.
The ValguLoc Big Toe Support supports the aligned position of the big toe after surgery or prevents a misalignment from getting worse. The functional design guarantees a great fit, and the correction pressure is continuously adjustable using the Velcro fastening.
Please note - the splint is not suitable for walking.

We use An Post Express Parcel Service as our Shipping Partner.
There are no deliveries on Sundays and Bank Holidays.

What is the cost of shipping?
A charge of €5.50 applies on all products to anywhere in Ireland.
Next-Day delivery on most items ordered before 12 noon Irish time.

How long will I have to wait to receive my order?
If it is a stock item, once we receive the order before 12pm you will receive next day delivery in most cases. An Post advise us delivery is between 1-3 days but they have provided a fantastic next day service to date. UK orders may take between 3-5 days. If it is a non-stock item it will take longer but we will communicate with you to give an accurate delivery date. Generally it will be within a week from time of ordering. We understand the need to receive our products as soon as possible so we make every effort to deliver without delay.
